Invader is an aerosol crack and crevice insecticide that is applied into cracks, crevices, and areas where insects such as German Cockroaches hide. It is also an excellent fast kill product of most crawling insects including spiders. But you have to be careful how you use it.
It is not intended to be used as a spray to baseboards (unless you inject it into baseboards cracks or behind the baseboard) or to cabinets (unless you inject it into cracks inside the cabinets).
So if you only apply Invader into cracks inside and around these areas, animals should never come into contact with it and it should be safe.
My basic rule on insecticides indoors, however they are used, is to get all people, animals, pets, etc. out of the house during application, and them make sure that everything is dry and that there are no odors before you allow anyone back in.
If you are going to use it for spider control, then only spray directly at the spider to kill it. Use a quick 1-2 second burst. Do not spray entire baseboards, etc.
