Essentria does a good job of killing spiders on contact, and providing some residual. In a lake environment, it may need to be reapplied every few days. Essentria is basically made of essential oils. So once the oil evaporates, its gone and needs to be reapplied.
The best thing to do is sweep all webs down with a broom (not water) and then spray over the same areas. If the webs are extremely bad, then power wash everything first, let it dry and then apply Essentria. Again, it still has to be applied every few days for optimum control. You will have to experiment to see how good the control is. You are spraying a naturally based spray. It's not going to have the same residual or effectiveness as a commercial insecticide.
