All insects are visible with the naked eye. There are no insects that cannot be seen. So unless it is something you can see, it is not an insect.
The closest thing to what you are talking about could be a chigger. Chiggers are the immature stages of mites. They are very small, but can still be seen with the eye.
Unless I know exactly what insect you are dealing with, I cannot make any recommendations for pesticides. Rid-a-bug will make you sick before it will cure any problem like this.
I would consider allergens as the possible problem. Also, bedbugs, mosquitoes, and / or spiders. You can use glue traps to capture insects and set them along the baseboards and under furniture to capture them. The ePest IPM Bug Trap works great at capturing a wide variety of insects.
Once you figure out what it is that it biting you, I can help.
