Since moles don't eat grains, only insects such as grubs and worms, I don't think they would eat this. Especially if you blend in plaster of paris. Never heard of this and honestly, it won't work.

I read both references and this method is for "ground squirrels", not moles. The second reference seems to be referencing the first as the writer of the original article actually says he has tried this method. He also says he has never achieved total control.
Ground squirrels may actually eat oatmeal. Moles won't. Moles eat grubs and earthworms, so even if this method worked for Ground Squirrels, it won't work for moles. If anybody has tried this with any success for ground squirrels, I am interested to know the results.
