Their is no shelf life once it is mixed. Tap water will kill the ingredients in a matter of days. The same goes for almost any insecticide that is mixed with tap water. Chorine, calcium and minerals in tap water will not allow any insecticide to stay stable for any period of time.
Once you mix it, use it within a couple of days. The container unopened or sealed should last about 2 years. After it is opened and exposed to air, it will last about 1 year.

Short answer - yes. It will last up to six weeks once applied, but the effectiveness greatly diminished after a few days.
Its the water itself that breaks the chemical down if left in the spray tank. Once applied, and the water dries leaving a film of chemical, that chemical will last up to 6 weeks.
Typically, fly control requires constant applications of whatever you use to get results. Even though this product is very good, it still requires repeat applications for best results.
