We have an ant colony in the backyard. We live in near San Francisco. What product do you recommend most?

We're looking at the KM Ant Pro Liquid Ant Bait Kit or the Tim-bor Carpenter Ant Control Kit.

Do you know what species of ants?

The Carpenter Ant kit is specifically for walls and voids in and around homes. It is not for outdoor use. If the ants are in the yard, it is probably not carpenter ants.
