It appears to be some kind of aquatic sowbug. Not sure exactly what species. As an entomologist, sometimes when we don't know the answer, we just guess..... Here is a good link to pictures of similar insects - http://www.nwnature.net/macros/crustaceans.html
If they are coming from under the shower, then that could be the explanation, but only if you live near a body of water which could support them. It is possible they migrated to your home from a body of water. Killing them could be as simple as eliminating any excess moisture, shower leaks. Chemically, you would have to inject something such as Termidor foam or Premise Foam under the shower pan to kill them. Also a complete exterior treatment of the yard and the perimeter of the house with Bifen or a similar residual insecticide.
