The very nature of most pesticides, even so called "organic" or "natural" pesticides is that they are poison. There is no such thing as a "safe" poison regardless of what it is. Water itself can be a poison when overused such as in the case of hyponatremia.
I would not recommend to spray any pesticides around a cancer patient with them in the room during application if that is what you are asking.
You can however, remove the patient from the room, treat the areas as directed by the label directions on the container, air out or ventilate the room thoroughly, make sure that the pesticide is completely dry and that there are no puddles or visible wet residue and then allow the patient back inside.
BEFORE any applications are made, I would consult with the patients Doctor and discuss with them the complete procedure and get their approval.
This procedure would work for most indoor pesticide products, however, again, I would make sure that the product to be used is suitable and the label directions allow for use around patients. Certain products such as Nuvan Pro Strips do not allow for use around patients.
