Most pesticide products can be used indoors as long as the product is dry before the animals return. This includes dogs and cats.
The only products that are potentially harmful to cats are PERMETHRIN based products, if applied directly to the cat such as in a dip or sprayed directly on the cat.
Normal recommendations are to keep animals away from treated areas until they are dry. In the case of baits, be sure that the bait is applied away in areas where the cat cannot get to it.
Dusts should be applied inside of cracks and crevices, wall voids, attics and other areas where cats cannot get to it.
