It appears to be that of what is commonly referred to as a "cigarette beetle".
This insect is usually a pest of grains, foods, etc. Is there a pantry nearby or some source of food that could be the culprit?
Other possibilities are dead animal in the wall, such as mouse, rat or squirrel. Also, old rat bait that is left in an attic, wall, etc, could be the cause.
Any good surface spray such as Suspend or Temprid will kill them. Demon WP will also work.
