The KM Ant Pro system will work in any weather above freezing. The question is, are the ants active and are they actively feeding outdoors?
Most species of ants will not actively feed if the weather and or temps are below 50 - 60 f. For this reason, I don't recommend placing the KM Ant Pro stations outdoors until the daytime temps are in this range. If the nighttime temps are below freezing, I would not use the stations until the nighttime temps are above freezing.
The cold temperatures will not hurt the KM Ant Pros or the Gourmet Liquid Ant bait, but it is useless to use them if the ants are not actively feeding. You will the best results when the temps are higher and the ants are active.

If the ants are active indoors, then they probably have a reserve food supply built up in their nest or colony. When this food supply is depleted they will have to find new food sources.
A good indoor alternative is Advance Carpenter Ant Bait - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/AD...
Another Option is Maxforce Carpenter Ant Gel Bait - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/CL...
These products are great for indoor use. Simply apply near where the ants are seen or where there is evidence of infestation. Remove wall switch plates, place inside walls, electrical boxes, plumbing accesses, eaves, attics, cracks, crevices, etc.
When the weather warms up, I would highly recommend the KM Ant Pro System for outdoor use. It will provide the necessary food source for the existing ants, and also help to intercept new ants that will migrate in from other areas.

The ants are in the house at this time. and the temps are in the 30-40s at night just now. What should I do about the ones in the house?
