Riptide is a pyrethrin concentrate normally used in Professional Mosquito Fogging Systems. As such, it is not something I normally recommend for indoor use, unless you want to make 55 gallons of spray. It can be sprayed with a hand sprayer, but in order to kill flies, you would need to fog it. In order to do that, you will need a ULV machine such as the Hurricane Fogger.
To answer your question, pyrethrins, the active ingredient are not usually harmful to people or pets once dry. After application, keep people and pets away until it has thoroughly dried. Here is a link to the directions and label.
A better product for use indoors to "fog" for flies would be CB 80. Here is a link to the product page.
