It depends. If the fruit trees are fruit bearing and for agricultural production then no - at least not according to the label. The crazy thing is, this same formulation is probably sold as a crop formula for use around fruit trees. Most insecticides are. They only require special licensing and registration which means more money for the EPA, which also makes them more expensive.
If this is for your home, and you have what are considered "ornamental" fruit trees, then there is no problem. Again this is the wisdom of the EPA.
