Since I don't know the Type of Sunniland you are using, I can only give you general advice on how to use it.
First - use a very low setting on the spreader where only a small amount comes out.
Second - figure out how many square feet your lawn is, multiply length x width to determine.
Third - using a milk jug, fill it with granules and weight out 10 lbs. If the bag is a 10 lb bag, you can skip this step.
Fourth - apply 1/2 of the granules or 5 lbs to 1/2 of your lawn. Once you get the hang of how much to apply, you can apply the remaining amount.
Basically, with any spreader, the settings can be misleading and you can very easily overapply the product and not have enough to finish the job. Underapplying is ok, because you can go back and apply more if you need to.
Hope this helps.
