The single best product to use is Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait. However, it has to be available to the ants outdoors 24/7. For this reason, the KM Ant Pro Liquid Ant Bait Dispenser is the best. Read more about it here - http://www.epestsupply.com/km-ant-pro...
The only other option is to spray the exterior perimeter with Termidor and to use Advion Ant Gel Indoors. Due to the typical large numbers of Argentine Ants, this method will not actually kill them all, just keep them under control for weeks or few months at best. To kill an ant population that can contain millions of ants requires a lot of chemical, and a few drops of ant bait or a few trays of Terro will do nothing to control the overall population.
Argentine Ants are difficult to deal with, and over the counter products such as Terro do not work. If it did, I would recommend it. Read more about Argentine Ants here - http://www.epestsupply.com/argentine-...
You will see on that page that we recommend many products, but Terro is not one of them, even though we carry it. Hope this helps.
