It totally depends on where they are located and large the nest is. If the nest is very large, the wall may have to be opened and the nest removed. This is best performed by a bee keeper or a knowledgable pest control company. If you decide to do this yourself, we sell bee suits to help protect you from getting stung.
Don't depend on a simple aerosol spray to take care of a huge problem. Figure out how severe the problem is and get professional help if you need it, or develop a plan to take care of it yourself. There are also a lot of good videos on youtube about how to remove bees and wasps nests from walls.
