Are you positive that these are bird mites, if so how do you know and do you have a visible rash, bites?

What will kill birdmites or spring tails in the home
I have been bothered for almost a year with bird mites from a nest that was built in the soffitt. I also had a water leak that was going under the fool for several months that I did not know about so I may have spring tails too. I am tired of being bitten. I need something to kill these things. Thanks
