Since I haven't received a response on this question, I will attempt to give an answer - Most of the pest control products that we sell are professional use, but do not require a license to purchase. If the product is a concentrate, then usually it is mixed with water, normally 1 oz or less of concentrate per gallon of water.
This is then sprayed through a hand held or garden type tank sprayer such as the Chapin Sure Spray Lawn and Garden Sprayer - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/20...
I don't recommend using any concentrate insecticides in lawn type hose end sprayers. This sprayer will dilute the insecticide way too much and render it ineffective. Hose end sprayers are great for fertilizers and herbicides where you never want to apply too much for fear of "burning" plants, but for insecticides, precise measurement, and precise application is the way to go for maximum effectiveness.
