The best way to prevent flies of any species is to not let them in. However, in some cases, this may not be entirely possible. Fly Spot Bait is an excellent product and can be sprayed on window frames, door frames, trash cans and anywhere flies tend to rest. The flies will land on the bait, immediately begin consuming it and then they die within minutes.
The Fly Spot Bait is a powder that mixes in water and is then sprayed onto these surfaces. Its different, but it works.
Other than that, the Flys Be Gone Fly trap may also help, these are placed outdoors and hung under trees, awnings, etc. to attract and capture the flies.
