Is there anything we can add to KM liquid to make racoons not like it?
Apparently racoons in our area like the taste of the KM liquid. Over the past week or so we've had several of our bait stations pulled up drained. This morning I found telltale paw prints leading away from one of the pulled up stations and another one not only pulled up, but completely unscrewed. The stations are working on helping control our ants, but now it appears they're attracting racoons. Is there something that we can add to the liquid that would make it taste bad without affecting how it kills ants, or do we have to try caging each of our eight stations somehow?

The way to stop this, is to drill 2 1/2" holes in the base of the station, 1 on each side near the edge. Then use 2 pieces of rebar about 1 foot long or steel rod (available at a hardware store) and insert the rebar through the hole at an angle under the station. Using a hammer, drive the rebar into the ground at an angle on each side making the station unmovable. Leave about 3 inches of rebar above the station, and make sure that at least 9 inches goes into the ground. Use longer rebar if th soil is soft. This works fairly well.
