There really is not a best treatment for bed bugs other than good old "roll up your sleeves, and find them" approach. Inspection, treatments of mattresses, and encasements for the mattresses are of major importance.
Transport Micron, Temprid, Demand CS, and Zenprox are some of the best concentrates available. Which one is best is a toss up.
Zenprox Aerosol, Bedlam Plus, Temprid Ready Spray and Precor 2620 are some of the best aerosols available.
Treatment for bed bugs really does depend on how thorough your treatment is. My advice is that if you see a bed bug, don't spray it, suck it up with a shop vac to eliminate it. Then after you have extracted all the bed bugs in an area, treatment with a residual product such as those above will help to kill the others.
