If the pine pieces are less than 2" thick, then they can be treated with BoraCare. This will be a tedious job, but since each gallon mixes with water and makes 2 gallons and treats 800 board feet, you will only need around 3 gallons of concentrate total. BoraCare is not an instant kill, but will help to slow the beetle destruction of the wood and will also help prevent reinfestation.
The only other alternative is to have the wood fumigated by a professional fumigator. This will be much more expensive, but depending on the value of the wood, might be an option.
