The duster is used to apply the Timbor powder or dust into the areas where the termite galleries are located. In order to apply the dust into the galleries, you have to find them and drill into them. I recommend using a 1/8 drill bit and driling into the kickout holes from which the termites frass or wood pellets falls. Using a stud finder, find the studs behind the sheetrock and drill the 1/8 holes into the kickout holes and also every 12 inches up and down the entire length of the stud. When you feel the drill bit give way into the gallery, you apply the invader insecticide first, then follow that up by applying the Timbor dust.
You can also dust in between studs, inside of eaves, hollow voids and other areas where drywood termites can be found.
The directions on using these products are attached to the containers. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Generally, whenever frass is found, look straight up, because it falls straight down. If you can't find the exit holes, then you may need to checkerboard drill the entire wall and either foam it (recommended) or dust it. Checkerboard drilling is basically drilling a hole every 12 inches in a checkerboard pattern up, down and across the entire wall. Then treat it.
