I have never personally caught a squirrel with a TRex Rat Trap. I am thinking that it might be possible, but there are no rodent bait stations large enough to allow a squirrel to enter. You would need to construct your own box, large enough so that a squirrel could enter it. Holes the size of softballs on the ends would probably work.
The problem with squirrels is that they almost never feed on anything but whole nuts. We trap squirrels with unshelled unsalted peanuts. Scatter them around the trap to entice the squirrels. Wire the trap open initially and let them take the peanuts off the trap. When you have them trained and feeling safe about eating the peanuts, unwire the trap and trap them.
