Bedlam Plus does a great job of killing bed bugs on contact. Typically, what we find is that it works very well when wet and for the first 7-14 days. After that, it needs to be reapplied. The surface that it is sprayed on really matters when trying to get long term control.
If bedlam is sprayed on linoleum, tile, metal or any hard non-porous surface, it lasts much longer. When it is sprayed on a porous surface such as carpet, cloth, cement, paper, etc, that surface will soak it up and not leave enough on the outer surface to kill the bed bugs when they crawl over it.
The surface it is sprayed on really matters. The best advice is to reapply every 10-14 days or at least until you think the bed bugs are dead.
