If you can't see the bugs, there probably are not any bugs. Skin irritations can be caused by many things. Most people think about bugs when they itch, but they don't consider anything else. 99.9% of the calls and emails we get on this issue are dermatogical in nature when researched. Here is a link to our page on how to bugs and insects you can't see. http://www.epestsupply.com/bugs-insec...
Hope this helps.

The problem is that there are very few insects that are so small that you can't see them and will cause the issues you are describing.
Almost all insects are visible to some extent with the naked eye, and completely visible under a regular magnifying glass. Dust mites or other similar mites could be the only exception.
What I would recommend before you start spraying any insecticide, is to assess the situation completely and look for anything that could be causing this. Bird nests that are located in eaves, attics, and chimneys could be a culprit and the source of a mite infestation. Is there anything going on that has changed the environment recently and the other question is anyone else getting bit, or only you?
Vacuuming, cleaning and general cleanliness can help.
If it is mites or insects, then capture some with a piece of tape and look at it under a magnifiying glass. Make certain that it has legs and visible body parts. If it does, send it to me and I will identify it for you.
