Typically, clothes moths, carpet beetles, dermistid beetles and similar insects that feed on on "kerotin" which is a protein found in hair and natural animal furs and fibers are fairly simple to control. Simply dry clean the infested garments, place them in a plastic bag or plastic tub and make sure than no insects can get to them. Problem solved.
If this is not possible, then here is what to do -
Remove all clothes from this closet and carefully inspect all clothes and garments and make sure that no clothes are infested. Pay special attention to wool garments, suits, etc.
Next treat the entire closet with a residual insecticide such as Demand CS - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/ZE...
The use of Insect Guard at this point is highly recommended, but a personal decision. Insect Guard tends to act as a fumigant and will kill most insects of this nature, but is not completely necessary as long as all clothes have been deemed "insect free".
CB80 is a contact kill only. No residual. If you see Moths flying around, CB80 kills them on contact, but leaves no residual for larvae control.
We sell a kit that contains all of these products - here is the link - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/KI...
