These traps are for monitoring insects only. They trap a small percentage of whatever insect happens to be in the area. They will not trap every insect and should not be relied on as a total means of control. There are no insect traps made that will give 100% control. Maybe 25% control. That is why we do not recommend them for Asian Lady Beetles.
Asian Lady Beetles have to be controlled outdoors first. If they get indoors then the best thing to do is to suck them up with a vacuum. Spraying indoors for Asian Lady Beetles usually does not work.
We have a complete page on how to kill Asian Lady Beetles here - http://www.epestsupply.com/asian_beet... If you read on the bottom of the page, it tells you that the use of traps is limited.
