Yes. Subterranean termites only. It will not kill drywood termites. Subterranean termites not only damage the structure, they routinely travel back to their colony to deliver food sources. When they consume the bait "Shatter" which contains a slow acting growth inhibitor, the bait is slowly dispersed throughout the colony and will eventually lead to what is called colony decline. If you are in the market for a termite bait system, then Sentricon and Hex Pro are the best available.
