Ants, small, red, 1/64", what to use?

We have ants in the kitchen area. Very tiny, maybe 1/64", pale red color, almost need a bright light to see them. First noticed them going after the dog food then up on the countertop grabbing crumbs. Maybe 1 in 100 will be larger in size. Seem to travel in "lines", not random like "crazy" ants. What's the best bait to kill the colony?? We live in South Texas along the Mexican border.

It sounds like Pharoah Ants. I can't be certain without seeing one. I would try using Advion Ant Gel Bait indoors first and see if that works.
