On newly installed kitchen cabinets with beetle infestation, is this a safe/best product to use?
We just built and installed the cabinets using Hickory and noticed piles of beetle dust every AM. We live in a wood house and can't afford this to get out of hand. We hate to tear the cabinets out, but will if needful. Is this a safe effective treatment?

If the cabinets are stained and sealed, then the only way to apply ANY chemical product is to completely sand them down and then apply the product. Timbor is not a great product for kitchen cabinets. It will leave a powdery residue. The best product is BoraCare, but the wood has to be bare. The basic method is to sand, treat with BoraCare and then refinish. Hope this helps.
