Its really hard to determine what it is from the picture. Even after I blew the picture up I still could not tell what it was. It definitely could be the larval stage of a moth. If you have any expensive wool sweaters, socks, jackets, etc, I would recommend to at least look at them and see if you find any damage. If so, then there is a complete protocol you have to follow. So at the very least inspect your clothes for damage, and consider hanging some clothes moth traps in the closets in which these clothes are stored. The moth traps won't eliminate the problem, but they will attract moths and let you know if there is an infestation starting to occur.
