No. Powder post beetles are difficult enought to kill as it is. There is no easy way to kill them, and using a product such as this can give a false sense of security.
The problem is that PP Beetles live deep inside the wood. In order to kill them completely, the chemical has to saturate through the wood completely - 100%. Spraying the surface of the wood won't work.
BoraCare, Totallity are the only products recommended for PP Beetle treatment. They only work on bare wood. If the surface of the wood is stained, painted or varnished, it has to be sanded off before treatment.
