Kissing bugs are an outdoor pest. Treatment should be started outdoors - lawns, shrubs, etc. should all be sprayed as needed to control them and keep them from getting indoors.
Interior treatments should be made with a residual insecticide such as Demand CS, Onslaught Fastcap, etc. These products are concentrated and mixed with water. A hand held pump type sprayer should be used. Spray the baseboards, behind curtains, furniture, window sills, etc.
Glue type traps such as the Catchmaster 288I can also be placed under furniture and along baseboards to capture them.
Aerosol products such as Zenprox are only good for killing insects on contact. If you see them, you can spray them directly and they will die. This will not control them or help to control any existing infestation.
If you contact a local pest control company, they will tell you the same thing. There are no easy fixes for this problem.
