Is Tempo SC Ultra safe to use around caged birds?

I have a small conure and a cockatoo. Can I use this spray around the floor near their cages without harming them? I really don’t want to kill my birds.

Its not safe to use any pesticide near birds. The only way I would recommend this is to remove the birds and then apply the products. I would also recommend to wash their cages out and keep them away from the areas until completely dry and all odors are gone. Up to 24 - 48 hours in some cases.

Tempo is toxic to most birds, so be extremely careful. It can be used successfully.

What if I move the birds and their cages to another room?, then do that room last?

I can’t remove them but I can possibly put them in the spare bedroom and close the door.

Ironically I’m trying to inoholate the moths that come in bird seed. Not sure what they are but they are small brown ones with a tan head? They are a nuisance & I never had them until I got caged birds. Would also like to kill any and all spiders I’ve seen in my house.

Spraying any pesticide on baseboards will not kill grain moths that are living in bird seed. What I would recommend is to use Pantry moth traps, throw out the bird seed, place new bird seed in a sealed plastic container. The spiders can be controlled by spraying the outer perimeter of the home and then using glue traps such as the 288I indoors along the walls. This is a chemical friendly approach and you will not have to remove the birds. Cleaning up their mess and keeping it clean and tidy is the key. Keeping bird food around infested with grain moths will only make the problem worse with time. You have to start with a clean slate.
