Is it possible to have bed bugs if we haven't been anywhere but home, school and work in the last month or so?

My daughter has roughly six or so bites on her upper thigh in a semi-straight line. We had bed bugs a few years ago in the past and know what they look like. However, this was almost four years ago and we have had an exterminator verify there was no signs of them several times since to be sure. We wash our sheets and check once a week just to be sure and have seen nothing since those four years ago. Whats even more is that I am a Housewife and never go anywhere, neither does my son and my daughter has only been in school for two days now, otherwise she was always home with us or out with family. My husband runs a sales truck and so he is never in anywhere except his truck. The only place we go besides home and out to parks, etc., is my mother-in-laws house. I have washed the sheets today and sprayed some otc poison through the room and bed just because I am not sure, but with the fact we never go anywhere, and its been four years since we had the outbreak, which we caught within two weeks of possible catching it, what are the odds this could be that again...

Bed bugs have been known to survive about a year without a blood meal. 4 years? That might be too long. Bed bugs can come from a variety of places - movie theaters, friends that spend the night or stay for a while, public transportation, etc. I would verify that they are indeed bed bug bites and if so, start a bed bug control program.
