Demon WP is a wettable powder based insecticide. Basically it is a powder that you mix with water. After it dries (after it is sprayed) the water evaporates to leave a fine powder which should resemble dust behind.
The amount of powder visible basically is determined the 1) amount mixed. 2) the amount applied. What I recommend is to use 1 water soluble pouch per gallon of water indoors, and 2 water soluble pouches per gallon of water outdoors.
When applying Demon WP, it is best to pump the sprayer up to charge the spray tank to ensure an even flow. Use a fan spray pattern tip and just give the areas to be treated a quick spray or burst. Only spray very small amounts indoors, and the best way to describe this is to spray as if you were using hairspray. The total amount indoors for most homes will not exceed 1/3 gallon total mix.
If you want to use something that will absolutely dry as clear as possible, then use Demand CS. It is used at extremely low amounts, and usually is only visible on glass or very shiny surfaces. The same spray technique applies. Here is the link to Demand CS - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/ZE...
