Obviously, if you remove the product, there will not be anything left to provide control. It sounds like the way it was applied is the way that most pest control companies apply it. If it was over applied, that could be an issue as far as getting it on plates, etc, in the cabinets. I would recommend to contact the pest company and talk to a supervisor and find out if it might have been improperly applied.
