The fiberglass is not the issue. Subterranean termites live in the ground in most cases and the proper treatment is to treat the soil in the area where they gained access to the structure. Sometimes that mean treating the soil under the structure if they are in a wall. Treating the wall if it contains insulation may not be the proper treatment.
