There really is not a good way to treat landscape timbers other than to soak them and the soil around them with Termidor SC. Termidor SC is a concentrate added to water. It might be a good idea to also treat the house or at least the foundation area of the house on the side where these timbers are located. Here are a couple of good links to articles that might help -
