Our carpenter ant kit contains most of the products that we recommend to do a spot or localized treatment. This includes using Advance Carpenter ant bait and sprinkling it around the outer perimeter, using Timbor dust and applying it into walls voids where the ants are nesting.
The Timbor dust application requires using a small hand duster and dusting or "puffing" the dust into the wall voids. This is done by removing walls switch plates, or even drilling holes into the walls where the carpenter ants are nesting. The Timbor is then dusted into the walls. The carpenter ants will get this dust on them, then then groom and clean each other, and when they digest it, it kills them.
The Carpenter Ant Control Kit, can require some work and effort to apply. It uses the same products that most pros use.
If you want an easy way to control carpenter ants that does not require much physical labor, then get the KM Ant Pro Liquid Ant Bait Station kit. This kit only requires you to place the KM Ant Pro Stations on the ground around the outer perimeter and keep the bait checked every 90 days. That's it. It's by far the easiest to use, with the least of amount of work involved.
