Yes, you can use Riptide inside the stalls, However, it is also recommended that the animals be removed prior to treatment or misting as the Piperonyl Butoxcide that is an ingredient in Riptide can cause the animals respiratory and eye irritations. It cannot be directly on food and water. I usually recommend to place the nozzles low in the stall and not overhead. Spraying low to the surface does a better job of killing flies that may be resting although it may not kill the ones airborne.
Treatment in a barn such as this is tricky in that in order to get control, the best application is to spray directly on the animals in most cases. Keeping it out their eyes, mouth, and nose is impossible. I would do some testing to see if there is any cause for concern with the animals.
Riptide comes in a 1/2 gallon container. 1/2 gallon of Riptide per 55 gallons of water is the recommended dilution. You can also go much weaker if you want to - 1 quart or even 1 pint per 55 gallons of water. Again, test to see what works and keep the Riptide cost to a minimum.
