Will granuals work with the km antpro station or liquid only?

When I bought the km antpro station I did not realize that the station did not come with bait. I need something to kill fire ants that is also safe for dogs. I read that the liquid did not work on fire ants and I do not want to expose my dog to granuals. Please advise!

When an order is placed for KM Ant Pro Stations only, without bait, we usually make a courtesy call or send an email to find out if the station is a replacement and/or to tell you that the bait is extra. I am sorry that you did not receive the notification.

Granule insecticides will not work with KM Ant Pro station. It is designed for liquid ant baits only.

Gourmet Ant Bait indeed does kill fire ants, its just that the manufacturer did not want to pay the extra money to the EPA to have fire ants listed on the label. Its a long story, but basically this is why. The more insects listed on the label, the more money it costs the manufacturer. I guess this is the American way of life......
