Here is the basic issue with clothes moths - they feed on kerotin which is a protein source for them found in natural fibers such as wool, etc. Even animal mounts can provide a source for them. If one was inside a wood dresser, then the only reason would be that there was a food source of some kind inside. Wool socks, caps etc can be a food source. The wood is not a food source.
