Thats a difficult question to answer. I guess it depends on the size of the bird and how much it consumed. Since Boric Acid is the active ingredient, and Boric Acid has the toxicity of table salt, how much salt would it take to effect a bird? If the bird only eats a few granules, then I don't think there would be much of a problem. However if the bird consumes a large amount, say a bottle cap full amount, then it could cause ill effects. If any pet birds have eaten this product I would recommend to have them checked out by a Vet. If its outdoor birds that are living outdoors, there isn't much you can do. We have never had a report of this product causing an issue with any kind of pet.
