As with all pesticide products, don't use them on dogs or cats unless the label specifically states that it is OK. An example would be a flea or tick spray such as Petcor, Happy Jack, etc.
Sterifab is basically a very safe product. It is not intended to be used on animals or pets. However, after using it, be sure that the area you sprayed is dry, and the odor has dissipated. Sterifab is in an alcohol base, so the dry time should be really quick, and the odor smells a little like alcohol but goes away quickly too.

I sort of figured that you weren't going to spray the dogs, but since this is a "forum" so to speak, I try to cover all of the bases. Some people could read that safe for dogs means safe to spray on dogs.
It should be fine for your sofa and your dogs once the sofa is dry.
