Thoroughbred Surfactant is a spreading agent that makes water "wetter" and also greatly enhances the penetration of insecticides into plants and surfaces, thereby greatly enhancing the effectiveness. Thoroughbred contains silicone agents to make this happen.
There is no exact amount or dilution rate for Thoroughbred, but according to the manufacturer - Winfield Solutions, 1/4 oz per gallon of water is more than sufficient in most cases. For mosquito misting applications, 1 pint per 55 gallons of water will work.
