The best thing to do is to spray the outside perimeter, and maybe even the lawn with a product called Bifen. This is a fast acting, low odor insecticide that kills millipedes on contact. It also provides residual control and will keep killing them for several days, even up to a couple of weeks outdoors.
Centipedes usually hide in shaded dark moist areas, so treatment of these areas is critical. 1 treatment might do the job, but plan on at least 2 applications scheduled 2-3 weeks apart.
Indoors use, ePest IPM Bug Traps and place them around the perimeter of rooms next to the walls. Use 1-2 in each room, placed under furniture, etc. These little bug traps will capture centipedes and millipedes, as well as cockroaches, spiders, etc.
Hope this helps.
