I have holes drilled with 1/2 bit in concrete. Do I need 1/2" or would 9/16" plugs fit tighter?
16 years ago I drilled a LOT of holes (every perimeter foot) in concrete of patio and driveway and front porch stoop. I bought a bag of Trebor plugs at that time. I had MOST of them left over and safely stored them, but unforturnately, I can NOT find them now, and I'm sure they would be fine since stored inside in dark. So, now I have to buy more. I used a 1/2 bit and a hammer drill. Logically I'd buy the 1/2" plugs but, should I buy the 9/16" for a tighter fit? I probably bought the 1/2" last time and they worked fine, and I can get them out with a small screwdriver. They have stayed in 16 years, none came out and none fell in, no problem. What do you suggest?

In most cases a "9/16" plug is used for a 1/2" hole.
