But regardless of the species, in order to control them, you have to get rid of the source. Throw all of the food away, then sanitize and spray the area with a residual insecticide such as Demand CS - https://www.epestcontrol.com/pest-pro...
There is nothing over the counter I recommend for this. Demand is what most Pros would use. It may require several applications at 2 week intervals to get control, even after the food is tossed out.
